The beans for this rich and delicious bar come from the Kooperativa Sambirano Manongalaza, a cooperative of smallholder cacao farmers along Sambirano in northwest Madagascar. The approximately 100 members follow traditional and all-organic cacao cultivation, fermentation and processing methods. This cacao derives its characteristic fruit notes and low bitterness from the unique climate and soil along the Sambirano River. 

This bar has a smooth chocolate flavour with immediate aromas of cherry or raspberry and exemplifies the complexity of fine flavoured cacao.
