The team at Öko Caribe has been working with local Dominican Republic farmers since 2006 to produce consistent, high quality, award winning beans. The owners Gualberto Torrejon and Adriano Rodriguez, have between them 50 years of combined experience in cacao production and maintain close relationships with their farmers through technical training, in agronomic practices and organic certification.
We often say this 72% bar is perfect for those new to dark chocolate. It is overwhelmingly chocolate with just a hint of other flavours, most notably red fruit.
