We always look forward to chocolate and beer collabs with Joanne and Rob from The Second Wedge brewery. For this special edition bar, we steeped cacao nibs in their Rainmaker Porter for three days, then drained and dried the nibs before beginning the chocolate-making process. During the pour, we added some nibs back in for a satisfying crunch. The result is a beautifully earthy chocolate with rich malt, coffee, and cocoa notes, all complemented by the delightful bitterness of the cacao nib crunch.

We sent this bar off to the Academy of Chocolate awards in the fall of 2023, just after its launch, and it came home with a silver!
